I know. I'm sooooo behind. I'm sorry that I'm a cheapskate and don't go to the theatres that often because I like watching them online. at the comfort of my own home.
BUT I couldn't resist, I've heard and seen reviews from friends and... Jack Frost's fangirls (lol!) I have to admit, the reason for me to go watch this was at least 30% Jack's fault, and that's a lot. Went as a family on a Christmas evening and watched it at the theatres in Yorkdale Mall, I'm SO glad I went, since it was ah-maaaazing! Whoever says that this is a 'kids' movie, oh heeeck no, there's a lot of deep stuff goin' on here, especially if you don't know about their backstories featured in the original novel, "Guardians of Childhood" by William Joyce! (I especially love Toothiana's, although sad)
Before I saw the trailer, I thought it'd be childish, with a scrawny old man holding an icy staff, same ol' chubby Santa, the pretty toothfairy, the cute little easter rabbit and a man of... sand - but I looove how they put a little twist to each of them! Well... a lot! Jack Frost is a *ahem* handsome boy with formidable powers, Santa is like... a russian soldier, Toothfairy is an enchanting hummingbird-like being, the Easter Bunny is like a manly kangaroo (sorry Bunnymund!!) and the Sandman is quite adorable and amazing in all his sandcraft.
I fell in love with Baby Tooth though, sooooo freakin' cute!!

Like a child would say, "I want one!!" <3 Whether you're a girl looking for some eye candy, or an adult looking for a not-so-childish trip to childhood... go watch it if you haven't already!! <3
